Our Mission
At STEMLearn, we go beyond exam prep — we prepare students for life. The STEM Foundation Olympiad blends core subjects like Math, Science, Technology & Engineering with the crucial skill of Logical Reasoning, a skill that's often introduced too late. We promote early development of both conceptual clarity & analytical thinking to give students a lasting edge.
Our Vision
Our vision is to equip students from Grades 5 to 9 with essential cognitive skills & logical reasoning abilities early on. By integrating reasoning at the school level, we aim to nurture curiosity, sharpen problem-solving & build a strong foundation for future academic & career success.
About SFO Examination
Level
SFO Exam is conducted in a single level for simplicity, and is available in bilingual format.
Format
Multiple Choice Questions with 10 questions from each section. Duration: 60–90 minutes depending on grade.
Exam Date
SFO Examination is conducted on 3 different dates. Schools can choose any one date as per their schedule.
Boards Compatibility
The paper is set in alignment with the board syllabus.
Subjects Covered
Maths
An area of knowledge that includes numbers, formulas and related structures, shapes and the spaces in which they are contained, and quantities and their changes.
Science
A rigorous, systematic endeavor that builds and organizes knowledge in the form of testable explanations and predictions about the world.
Computers & AI
A rapidly growing field that covers computing fundamentals, programming logic, and the principles of Artificial Intelligence — preparing students to understand how technology works and how machines think, learn, and make decisions.
Logical Reasoning
Involves the process of analyzing information, identifying patterns, and evaluating arguments to arrive at well-founded and valid conclusions.

School Onboarding & Registration
Prospectus and Registration Forms are sent to all schools registered with SFO.
Note: A minimum of 25 students must be registered from each school.
Schools return the duly filled registration forms to SpeEdLabs by the due date.
Note: A Google Form & Sheet will be shared with the school's Point of Contact.
Onboarding of school, allocation of roll numbers to students & ID creation on the SFO portal.
Schools distribute SFO Books and login details to students for SFO Mock Tests & online resources.
Schools choose from 3 available dates for conducting the SFO Exam on their campus.
Conducting SFO at School
SpeEdLabs will register the applicant school and students, and dispatch question papers and guidelines for conducting the examination.
Any school can be registered as a center for SFO
No fee is required from the institution to become a registered examination centre
Exam is conducted using the school's own campus, classrooms, and school coordinators
