CBSE CLASS 9: AN OVERVIEW

  • The questions are released for every chapter from CBSE 9-12 Curriculum.
  • This can be a very scoring section for the students.
  • This approach will focus more on the practical and conceptual understanding of the topics.
  • Considering the modification, CBSE Class 9 and 10 standard question paper will comprise:

Objective Questions: 20%

Competency-based Questions: 30%

Short and Long Questions: 50%

The CBSE Board will also be releasing sample papers based on the updated paper pattern soon. Students can prepare for the academic session 2020-21 in the following ways:

The universal law of gravitation, free fall, acceleration due to gravity, definition, and difference between mass and weight are explained here along with examples for deeper and thorough understanding.

Chapter-11  Work and Energy

Here the topics of work and energy are explained starting with definitions, their differences, properties, kinetic energy, power, average power, pendulum problems, the force acting on a particular object problem are explained in detail here.

Chapter-12  Sound

Why sound waves are also called mechanical waves, wave property with respect to loudness, pitch, terms like wavelength, frequency, period, amplitude, their related formulas, example problems, and exercises are provided for better understanding the concepts. Differences between loudness, the intensity of sound, production of sound, experiments on sound and its propagation are discussed here.
